How many keys/Buttons in total do you have on your phone?
Don't start counting now. Thought you been with this phone all these while. How come you can't answer a question as simple as this about the it?
Well, consider my few assertions below as true.

- 'USE' does not guarantee perfection/Expertise
(The fact that you have been using this phone for so long did not bestow on you everything about it)
- You will most likely not find what you are not DELIBERATELY looking for. And if you find it, you will most likely not take notice. The reason is simple; You were not EXPECTING in that direction.

If you use a BlackBerry bold 4 like I do, your phone has 45 keys. You might want to ask how I got to know.
Well, I DELIBERATELY counted it!
The 21st century man needs to understand the POWER of CONSCIOUS efforts, DELIBERATE moves and CALCULATED initiatives.

YOU need to DELIBRATELY create the quality of FUTURE you would rather prefer. That's the only way you will have it.

GREENER Nigeria

GREENER NIGERIA

I'm baffled by how much Nigerians are struggling to travel to 'ANY' country that has 'WHITE' inhabitants, regardless of what the name of the country is.  There seems to be a connection between being white and having blossoming economies, functioning governmental systems and happier lives. This is made more obvious by the amount of Nigerians who register to participate in the VISA lotteries that are made available on a yearly basis. To the average Nigerian, winning a VISA lottery is more valuable than getting a college degree. The negativity dominating our systems have made it such that we choose to give up on any possibility and potential for changes and positive upswings on the home front. The GRASS on this side of the world is supposedly dry. Hence, the need to shift our grazing paradigms to GREENER pastures.

 

Not bad we are moving to greener pastures. But the fact remains that any pasture can be GREEN if it is watered, pruned and tended. Greatness is not a place, it is a people.  The results, character, competencies and structures we see in 1st world nations are not to be “WOWED” at, they are pointers and indicators to how much potentials exist in our own system.

Years have gone by and we have had more and more people move to greener pastures in the UK, USA, Germany and the likes, what can we show for the “GREEN-NESS” that our people have been going to be part of? What leverages and platforms are we creating for our children by going abroad to make the whole money, even when the country they will live in is is in a failing state? What are we doing?

I am not in any way saying it’s bad to travel out. Far from it. What I am saying is when we travel to such 1st world communities, we should study their solutions, systems, strategies, science and structures so we can reproduce such results on the home front, with little additions to fit our cultural and local uniqueness in execution.   That’s the only way we won’t be left behind in a fast paced world.

It’s high time we look at how we can water our own pastures such that our children will wake up to a country they can truly call their own. Else, we will be so POOR; all we will have is MONEY but no LEGACIES for the generations coming behind.

Magic is a LIE

Getting my hands off the keyboard of my Laptop 12am last night (or this morning rather) after spending so much time developing content, I needed to sleep but still took time to complete a chapter of a business book I am reading, read my bible and Catch Susan Li's FIRST UP on Bloomberg (an investment TV show). Everyone else around was sleeping while I did all these. Well, It's better to conduct business when the market is less crowded. Doing all these to pay my dues to create the FUTURE is would rather prefer. No wonder people get sometimes awed at my EXECUTION during the day. 

Some of the people who were sleeping while I was doing all those will wake up and call me a "magician". They ask questions; How do you get to know all these things you say and write? You studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering and not English/Literature in school? Are you not the same Power system Engineer who is one of Just two people who can operate the Seimen's N10m computer software "Power system simulator for Engineering" (PSS/E) in Nigeria? (and maybe west Africa?).
I am not a MAGICIAN. As a matter of Fact, MAGIC is a LIE. While others sleep, some others create value in themselves. A demonstration of this VALUE in broad daylight throws everyone off balance. And that's supposed to be MAGIC? Huh? Haba!
Magic does not exist. Everything in life is principled, can be explained and can be reproduced.
